Weatherproof garden shed

Moving to a house with no loft space and minimal other storage so trying to think of other options. Is there such a thing as a fully waterproof shed? Will be used to store suitcases/spare kitchen stuff but also some sentimental items like DC first drawings and things.
DH trying to convince me a shed will be fine. I'm not convinced given the weather extremes we seem to get these days.

I wouldn't - it'll be unheated and fabric linings of suitcases, etc could easily go moudly. Built in storage somewhere or space in a tall wardrobe would be a better solution.

Even if it is rain proof, it will be damp. Moisture rises through concrete floors unless they have a DPM.

Metal sheds are especially bad for condensation.

You can put stuff in plastic crates with tightly sealed lids, which will be sufficient for spare kitchen stuff, but paperwork is likely to be damaged. Temperature changes will cause condensation even inside the crate.

Thank you - you are all echoing my thoughts. I think looking into a storage unit is a better idea.

you could keep it ambient temperature with a green house heater ?
