Solidor Help!

We recently had a solidor installed and it's been nothing but trouble. We have had someone out for a second opinion and they've suggested the frame that has been installed is not matching to the door.

The frame has a reference starting TD11232. Is anyone able to tell me if this is genuine solidor?

Solidor themselves are not brilliantly helpful :(

Thank you!!

Hi, I believe that you've just sent us a message on Facebook regarding this? TD11232 is not a reference number known to us. Perhaps you could tell us where you purchased your door from so that we can offer some assistance.

Kind Regards,

Lucy (Solidor)

Interesting. I've just had a quote from local solidor installer. Please keep us updated op if they sort this out.

Our installer battled for a year to get us a draft free door. We had a rock door initially which they had to change 3 times as they were so bowed. They decided to change us to solidor to solve the issue as rock weren't compensating them for their time at each visit.
The solidor arrived bent (can you believe our luck.) We went ahead anyway as they felt it was in tolerance but the draft is ridiculous. Some adjustments were made to the fitting and since then they've just given up. We are taking it to court.
I actually feel quite sorry for the installers as with a bit of research it seems the composite industry has massive issues and the poor installers are left giving days of their own time for free to change faulty doors.
Obviously worse for the consumers like us who are £1800 out of pocket, a year of visits and disruptions and still a door that lets in significant amounts or cold air between dooe and frame from where the lock and catches are located.
We were a bit miffed too when someone suggested we don't even have a genuine solidor frame Confused
