Electrical issue. Please help

I decided to change a light fitting in my hallway and it seemed to go well, was about to switch the lights back on from the electric box and my kid ran out saying the internet is off.

Went to investigate and all the plugs from my front room are off and also randomly my cooker (electric) is not on either. All other plugs are working so if anyone could help me with what this could be thatd be great

How many fuses/circuits/breakers are off in your consumer unit aka fuse box ?

If its RCD protected even with the MCB off or fuse removed enough current can flow between neutral and earth if they touch to trip the device which may be protecting more than one fuse or mcb. I will never quite understand the "seemed to go well" logic when it comes to DIY electrics just because it wont blow your house up like gas doesnt mean the dangers arent there and works doesn't necessarily mean safe.

If you have any doubts i'd recommend you get a qualified registered electrician in to take a look.

One of your RCDs has probably tripped due to neutral and earth touching, the RCD will cover several circuits which are intentionally unrelated, the other one will cover the rest.
Ideally you should have isolated all live conductors including neutral before doing work on the circuit.
To resolve that problem simply turn it back on, it will be at the end of the bank of circuit breakers.
However as above your wiring should be checked and confirmed correct before re energising the circuit

Yeah i had someone round and it was just pure bad luck that a fuse in one of my plug sockets in the living room had gone and this was causing the plug issues. Thanks for your replies

If that someone you paid then ask for a refund as it's bad luck they didn't understand electrics but still have opinions on them.
Fuses in plugs only affect the appliance that is directly connected, not other sockets or cookers on different circuits.
