Grim. I’m not familiar with the area, is it a v cheap house for that location?

GiveHerHellFromUs · 11/12/2019 07:13

Probably why it's £45,000 Grin that could be a good investment property really!

Finfintytint · 11/12/2019 07:13

Interesting use of space.

AllYouGoodGoodPeople · 11/12/2019 07:13

I can't even see a bathroom on the floor plan - is that the kitchen?

Lolimax · 11/12/2019 07:14

It's an area where property is cheaper than most. Looks like the shower in the kitchen is the only bathroom'.
Anyone fancy putting an offer in?

It has fantastic views - done up it would be lovely. I think you'd have to turn it into a 2 bed though, to put a bathroom in.

cricketmum84 · 11/12/2019 07:23

What gorgeous views though! If I were a property developer I would snap that up!

Shower is grim though.

MrsMaryBOOface · 11/12/2019 07:25

Reminds me of the Gavin and Stacey episode where they view a flat with a shower head and drain in the kitchen...

Where's the toilet?!

LeekMunchingSheepShagger · 11/12/2019 07:28

Good grief. I’m expecting to see that on homes under the hammer next year! It doesn’t have a bathroom??

TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 · 11/12/2019 07:30

It says 'separate WC with rear aspect' I think that means outside toilet?

No, I think the WC is beside the kitchen, although it’s hard to tell. Rear aspect just means the window looks out to the rear of the property.

BarkandCheese · 11/12/2019 07:41

I remember seeking something where post war London council flats had baths in the kitchen. They were under a counter top which you lifted off when you wanted a bath.

GrannyBags · 11/12/2019 07:46

The 1970’s carpets and generally dinginess plus the ‘no onward chain’ suggest an elderly person lived there for many years. Could be a great project for someone.

MTJTD · 11/12/2019 08:14

It's efficient, you can cook breakfast while showering.

longearedbat · 11/12/2019 08:41

Houses built into hillsides often have problems with the viability of the retaining wall at the rear. I have seen a few houses like this (on homes under the hammer and other property programmes), where they have had to rebuild/reinforce the rear retaining wall, which always seems to cost a fortune. That would concern me far more than the interior of the house.
Oh, that swirly carpet takes me back!

If elephants were human I'd say, 'it's where elephants go to die.'

Saying this about humans is too damn dark.

OldElPasoHadAChicken · 11/12/2019 09:37

That's even cheaper than the ones my parents looked at in Merthyr. So probably is quite cheap for the area.

AllYouGoodGoodPeople · 11/12/2019 10:29

The view out the front is fantastic though.

Whatsnewpussyhat · 11/12/2019 10:34

Couldn't get past the nicotine stained living room. You'd have to strip it back to brick.

A developer will buy it.
