Paint choice?

I am redecorating my DD's bedroom which is in the basement and doesn't have a lot of light, so we need something quite bright. DD would like pink but not too pink. Please can you recommend a bright light pink that would work in a relatively gloomy room to cheer it up but not overpower it. Thanks!!

Remember pink is the colour that most reflects back on itself, ie where walls meet in corners the pink will intensify.

I have Rose Trellis 6 by Dulux in my sitting room – fairly gloomy today, pic attached. At times it seems like a warm white, other times it's a rosy glow. It's not too saccharine.

Could you do white to maximise light, and one intense fuchsia pink feature wall?

Seen farrow and ball Middleton pink in a basement. It works.

Thank you!

I put F&B Middleton Pink in the utility and the back of it gets little light but it's really lovely. A calm rosy blush pink.

It's also a north facing room but it does make it feel warm.

Thanks soak. I will have another think about the Middleton pink. Do you have a picture of it - just a wall, nothing identifying? I know that I am being a CF but it would really help me/DD to decide.

If you search #middletonpink on Instagram you can see some lovely photos of it in action.

My DD had Middleton Pink in her bedroom and it was lovely. Not too girly but just enough colour and sophisticated.
