Sofa layout in dual aspect room

We’ve just bought a holiday home which we are renovating. The living room is dual aspect with the back bay window north facing (with a window seat) and the french doors south facing at the front of the house. The large hedge gives quite a bit of privacy here.

How would you arrange the room? We are thinking about getting some of the Next Stamford range, ideally with a sofa bed. We would like to have seating for at least 6 people. Having had two corner sofas before we would prefer separate seating. The TV will be close to the front french doors, so having two sofas facing each other either side of the fire would block the TV. Any ideas? We are buying everything new so open to any suggestions!

I assume there is a door to the rest of the house on wall opposite fireplace.
Which end?

It’s a lovely room!

How about a small sofa in front of the bay, but with space behind it to access the window seat; a larger sofa facing the fireplace, and a chair near the french doors?

Door is at the french doors end. I was about to ask the same question, then I spotted it in the mirror!

Hmmm. But I hadn’t factored the door into my seating idea.

A small chair, then. Easily moved!

Sorry about forgetting the door! It’s close to the french doors on the wall opposite the fireplace.

I would be tempted to put the tv in the corner next to the french windows - won't be any glare then, and the back of the room with the window seat could be a snug/reading area.

Thanks for the ideas everyone. I think I’m going to start with a large and smaller sofa across the back wall and bay window wall, then see how much space is left, with a view to getting an armchair or chaise in the near future.
