Insurance claim: what do we do with furniture while new flooring is laid to most of downstairs?

We had an ingress of water while away on holiday, and the assessor for the home insurance has recommended that all the floors are replaced. So what happens to all the furniture that needs to be moved out? We’ve got quite a lot, and I doubt we can get it upstairs. We are having laminate panels replaced so I think they will need a clear run to do that.

Some storage companies have something akin to a shed on wheels that arrives and is left outside your house until it's full then they take it away and store it for you. Presumably, you could just rent it for a couple of days and not bother with the actual storage bit!

Do one room at a time.

In summer you can put stuff outside, covered, for a day or two.

Will have to ask the floor fitters what they do. Leaving stuff outside, even covered, not an option in the UK at the moment. The room is largely open plan, lounge/diner, study and hall. Thanks for suggestions though!
