Extractor fan and damp patches

We had a Neff extractor fan fitted two years ago as part of a new kitchen in a new extension. Recently we’ve noticed large damp patches next to the grill at the top and underneath above the hob. Checking where it leaves the building outside it seems to be working fine and blowing. Has anyone experienced this? Could it be blocked or possibly we’re just not using it enough and condensation has build up as a result?

I can't understand your picture

It might be condensation where the duct has come off the spigot

If you are using flexible hose, condensation accumulates in the grooves

I still can't understand your picture but it also might be a roof or other leak.

Thanks for answering. I now see the picture needs to be turned 90• clockwise - might help!
I don’t know if it’s a flexible hose - if it’s either of the things you say, is there anything we can do? Going to text the builder about it today. It’s only just started happening after 2 years.

Can we do anything about the grooves collecting condensation? I obviously need to look into its specs because I paid no attention when it was being installed.

looks more like a roof leak to me. Have a look at the outside but I think you need to take the hood down and look up the hole.

stand back amd take some more pics please
