Does anyone have sisal carpet?

I love the look of it but my carpet fella tells me it's not hard-wearing.

Any thoughts?

I didn’t think it was still fashionable , we had it in the late 90’s, not to be recommended if you walk around in bare feet.

I have it in my study.

Yes it's hard wearing and great if you have an office chair with wheels.

But it's not comfortable under bare feet and if you spill anything on it, cleaning it is a nightmare.

Tbh I'm happy with it in the study (where no food is allowed anyway) but I wouldn't use it for large areas that need regular cleaning due to footfall.

So tbh for your study it will probably work well (as it does in mine).
