Wet Rooms - Anti slip tiles

Can anybody who has tiled a wetroom/bathroom with anti-slip tiles let me know which rating they used and how they find them slip wise? Some of the tile shops say we don't need a slip rating and some are saying it has to be an R11. We want to avoid an R11 as they are so rough they must be impossible to clean. But also don't want kids with broken bones due to slipping on a wet floor!
We want to use an R9 everywhere but with an R10 in the actual shower.
Any advice please?

From what I’ve read you really should have R12 or 13 in the shower area. We went for 12 in our wet rooms, as we were renting the property out and didn’t want to risk any slips. You can put any tiles you like down, but R10 are advised only on floors that never get wet, so they are likely to be quite slippy when wet. It’s up to you really though if you’re the ones living there!

We definitely don't want to risk any slippyness but we are struggling to find what is recommended and I thought it would be best to hear from people who have them rather than sales staff. The advice I have been given has varied from the tiles not needing a rating, to definitely needing R13!

Can you go and see/ feel some? The R13 were very rough and we didn't particularly like the texture of the 12 but as it was a rental we went with it.
We only went from advice/ info online, you could ask a friendly local plumber if you know one? I actually know one if you want me to ask him?
