Hi all,
Any idea for cost for removing a non load bearing wall?
Buying a house that used to be a HMO so all the rooms are singles.
I can get family members to move electrical sockets and radiators. But not got a clue what to budget and google is no help!
Is £1000 a wall a good budget do you think?
They’re just stud walls in-between rooms.

I imagine a labourer would charge a call out and then hourly and that's usually depend on your area etc and would be more or less for clear up and waste disposal. You've also got to factor in the damage to the ceiling and floor afterward, the ceiling will maybe need plasterboard, skim, filler, and floor may need some levelling compound or replacement boards and re flooring also. have you posted on mybuilder or similar?

You can do this stuff yourself with basic DIY skills, if you're confident they're not load bearing and aware for electrics etc, start by getting sharp end of a hammer and hitting it into the wall to pull plaster board away then you'll be able to see inside the entire wall. It's not a massive job just a really messy one. Would save you a lot of money!
