End of tenancy housing inspection

What to expect on an end of tenancy inspection?

We move out in the next two weeks but have an inspection tomorrow. We haven't drilled screws or put nails in any of the walls except for the curtains pole and blinds, there's no major damage, we haven't altered anything within the house, all white goods are ours and the flooring we've laid ourselves. I've just no idea what to expect the woman to look at or say really.

Any advice?

It sounds like you don't have anything to worry about. If you haven't painted the ceilings black, removed all the doors, kept cats that have pee'd everywhere, children who have scribbled on walls etc etc I should think you'll be fine. (Have been both a tenant and landlord!)

That's good then.

Nope we've never decorated really, we painted over frozen the movie wallpaper that was left from previous tenants in our sons room as we didn't have the time to strip it (apparently neither did the landlord before we moved in). That's just deep blue so not garish or horrible in any way.

Every door and wall is still intact and in place, we have no pets and my sons never scribbled on the walls, the worst he ever did was rub sudocrem all over his bed and there's two tiny grease hand prints on the wall next to his bed that I couldn't get out or have time to paint over, same issue with the wall behind the cooker that's greasy as it wasn't covered with anything to stop oil splashing up onto the paint work. I do have magnolia paint so will be able to paint over areas if need be before we leave if the housing woman is that picky.
