Putting note through sellers door?

My partner and I are in a position to buy our first house and have seen mortgage advisor last week who advised us to start looking. Have came across a 3 bed semi in a nice area within our budget and ticks all our boxes. It's very well priced I think and has been up since mid August so has probably already had quite a lot of interest I would imagine. I emailed EA on Friday as wouldn't get through on phone, also seen they were active on FB so followed it up on there ... no reply and they've been open all day today. Can't understand why they would just ignore me surely they should be very keen to get people viewing and as we are FTB have no chain. Can only view on weekends due to OH working away. Really don't want to let it go as it's the only suitable one we both agree on that we've seen in months. Really want to view this weekend. EA open tomorrow it says on google but if I can't get through to them would it be inappropriate to put note through door asking to view later that day and leave my number? Any one had similar experiences? Not viewed any houses yet so very new to this. TIA

I didn't say you had. Just commenting on pp saying how the EA maybe dodgy and how you should make your own enquiries directly.

If you are only looking in one area then I think you will struggle.

We are moving soon. My search area is 40 miles radius of dps office and within 45 -
1 hour of ds's college and a work place DD does a lot of work at.

Putting all those criteria in and there are thousands of potential houses. Hundreds in the ftb catergory

@Oliversmumsarmy thanks for your advice, I have looked in a nearby area and a lovely house has just gone up for sale today 3 bed semi again what we are looking for so going to try and arrange a viewing for Friday. 5k over our budget but it wouldn't hurt to look and if we both really like it in person put a slightly lower offer in. We've waited a long time to be in this position so now that we are I just want to find somewhere!
