Desperately need flooring help

I really need new flooring in our entrance/dining/kitchen area. It needs to be easily cleaned (this is my most important factor) and hard wearing as we have 2 kids and a big dog.
We currently have laminate which is warped and vinyl which always looks filthy regardless of how much its cleaned.
Both sets of floors are less than 5 years old but I hate them so much. This flooring will be the last we put down for a very long time so I have to get it right.
Please help, I'm desperate!

Karndean? That's what I'm planning for my entrance hall and kitchen diner.

Engineered Wood? Karndean/Amtico is popular also.

I'd go for tiles.

Engineered wood is a wood veneer and that wears. So don’t have that for these areas. The ubiquitous Karndean (there MUST be other makes?) would fit the bill. Amtico also.

I have a fantastic tiled hall and kitchen ehich looks like limestone. Most people cannot tell the difference. It suits our house. It’s possibly not so easy to clean due to the grout but in general it’s hard wearing. We do have underfloor heating though.

It would depend on the age of the house too. Modern concrete tiles look amazing but not in a Victorian house.

Howdens have a fantastic Karndean type product that has a built in underlay meaning it can be laid on top of existing tiles etc (saves taking them up). Its 4.5mm so probably doesn't need skirtings removed. Suitable with underfloor heating, 25y guarantee, wood or tile effect.
