Hiding cables from a wall mounted TV

Probably going to sound very stupid with this thread but we recently moved into our new build property and had our TV put up on the wall in the living room. Both me and my partner are useless when it comes to DIY so we had most things done for us such as putting up the tv bracket, curtain poles, etc.Confused. The cables coming from underneath the TV are looking really messy and i would love to be able to hide them without doing any damage to the wall. Does anyone have any suggestions on what we could look into doing? Probably worth mentioning that the property is a rental. X

2 things spring to mind.

A curly wirly cable tidy. It's like a flat telephone wire, that curls around your cables.

Other option, go to a decent DIY store, and get plastic trunking.... Firstly group the wires together, using a bit of tape or cable ties, and measure the mass!
When getting the trunking make sure it's the right size, a little too big is ok... Allows for new stuff later... Cheats method to fix to wall is either decent double sided tape, or space out those velcro picture hanging tabs.
Oh, and for the trunking buy a JUNIOR HACKSAW, TAPE MEASURE (5M will cover most jobs you'll ever need a tape for), and a STANLEY KNIFE (craft knife not good enought).

Measure an inch under (so trunking goes up under TV) the TV and down if you need to go L/R, do this as low as you can ... Even down to skirting level.
Work out total length and how many joiners (to connect each length to each other).
When at the place you want to the cables to end, leave half an inch of the top of the trunking missing.

I hope I've made this simple for you and you get it!

I've done it so many times, I had to really think n slow down what I do automatically. Feel free to PM me if any probs, and add pictures if not sure..
I was a maintenance person for quite a few years.
