Would I need planning permission for a large garden shed?

Would like to place it at the very bottom of the garden. Around 3 x 2.5m wide (maybe).
Less than 2.5m high.
Does anyone know if I need PP or can I just plonk one in without worrying about it?

I think the height limit is 2m...

Ah... well that wouldn't be a problem. It's more the floor space I need. I was worried about the length and width of it more than anything.

I think it's a limit 2.4 or 2.5m tall if you are within 2m of the garden boundary. Footprint less than 50% of the garden I think - have a look on the planning portal.

what @didireallysaythat said

It depends on a number of factors, distance from the boundary, the relationship of the garden to the principle boundary, the relative size compared to the whole garden plus what other outbuldings are there.

You need to look at your local councils planning department to see what qualifies as a 'permitted development' before proceeding.

Annoyingly, our garden is adjacent to the principal elevation of the house (at the front) - so pretty much anything bigger than a plant pot needs planning permission.
