Anyone had one of these laid? What were your experiences - how has it lasted etc?

Any idea of price per square metre?

Anyone?

No advice re price, but my parents had this done approx 5 years ago and it still looks like new. They have a steep initial section of drive which then levels out to flat and it copes with three cars using it everyday.

Also seems less slippery to walk on in winter.

Thank you - that's reassuring.

How cold is the area you live in. Friends suffered after a very cold spell to be fair the company came back and put down more for them.

My Mum has it done and it's really nice. Surprisingly non slip, even on a slope. However at the bottom of the slope, it's cracked slightly. Although there is a 10 year guarantee.

Does anyone know the approximate cost of getting this done on a 2 car driveway?

feelingsicknow · 11/08/2019 19:24

Not particularly cold - south east, outskirts of London.

We rarely get snow or frosts here. The resin drive my friend had is on a slope, water crept underneath and froze, hence the cracking, it also had tiny gravel bits in it which came loose. The men came and repaired the cracks. You may have to apply for planning because it is not water permeable as well. I would give your planning dept. a call.

Very good article below including costs. £120-£150 a square metre.
