House move Brexit cold feet?

Hi me again (of the solar panel chaos - all resolved). Just wondering if any of you house movers are starting to get second thoughts with Brexit looming? We’ve been all agreed price wise since April and now things are starting to get me jittery. It might be that there is work needed to the house - it was meant to be quick and no chain either side of hours but that changed a few weeks in and now is a big chain and almost ready but not quite. The house is big and expensive and needs work. It’s currently all affordable (mortgage 22% of income, we have funds for the work) but I’m worrying what if? I don’t think there is an answer, but I hate what’s going on

We are in the process of selling and buying in London. We did also get cold feet because of the real prospect of a No Deal Brexit. We decided to go ahead despite the worries. It’s a long term house, we have some emergency savings which we could use for 6 months+ if one of us loses their jobs. The mortgage rate we got was very good and the worry is that if we postpone the move for a year it might be much more difficult to get a mortgage and certainly not at these very low rates. We lost some money selling our house but also managed to negotiate down the price of the house we are buying. I think what was the most decisive factor was the ‘push’ factor, I.e the reasons why you are moving. For us it mainly the secondary schools but also upsizing and moving to a better area. So it really depends in how strong is your push factor. Good luck.

@Longqueue oh you remember my post, im such a worrier. We are still on the fence but have gone ahead with searches and are doing enquiries with the solicitor so hopefully we will have more info as so far different people say different things about the cellar so we are none the wiser, I just want our minds put at ease a bit. My husband and I have definitely had a few words about it all and I think he is beginning to have enough of the hassle. If we end up not buying it we will most likely be stuck here as neither of us really want to rent temporarily, this will mean remortgaging here so we atleast have a bit of certainty and if we move later we could try to port over the lower rate and borrow the remainder needed at a higher rate, but i suppose some say prices will drop and some building works are about to happen near our home which may be more off putting to buyers in the short term. I worry if we don't move now particular in regards to.my daughter starting school and is having to move her at a later date. At present I'm just a bit of a wreck worrying about moving or not, my daughter starting school and am not looking forward to.my maternity leave ending either. If you adore the house you are buying, can comfortably afford it and went to be there a long time then I would go for it. Also being in limbo on and off the market, losing buyers here and there has been such a pain.
