How is the property market near you

We have had ours on since end of Feb, plenty of viewings but no real offers. It is quite a unique house so nothing really to compare it too, the agents we are using said the price is very competitive but the market is very slow due to brexit and uncertainty. Not sure what to do as we need to move for work but things are taking ages. Perhaps the agents aren't doing their job, I'm not sure.

I live in Leicester. The 'For Sale' boards only seem to stay up a week, at the lower end of the market. I'm not sure about more expensive properties. I think Leicester has been a very underestimated city for too long.

I think in most parts of the country Brexit is the main reason for people not buying, I wouldn't even try buying or selling until next year, too much uncertainty.

North West London zone 4. Market has slowed down, prices down ca 5% compared to a year ago.

SW here and property is moving well. Any greedy overpriced higher end property owners have to drop to more realistic levels but in the lower end of the market property goes quickly.
Ones which are ideal for small families/first time buyers/downsizers and are clean, newish kitchens/bathrooms not in need of loads of work/money are snapped up within the week.
Do-er uppers don't move so quickly unless absolute bargains. Just what you'd expect really.

The market is led by what people are prepared to pay, perhaps it's overpriced if all your offers are 15% less.
