Which house do you prefer?

We are looking for our family home for the next 15 or so years and I'm torn.

Which one do you prefer? Both are very different and very different to our new build. Both close to good schools and transport.

Huuuge (and quite ugly) estate being built in Gilden Way at the moment (and there could be many more houses to follow)
Lots of traffic will ensue.

Also take a look at the proposed new M11 exit 7B and link road to A414 due to be built along Gilden way or nearby.
Might be fine, might not. And might never happen. But just be aware.
Sawbo is nice and Vantorts is well thought of.
For secondary schools Leventhorpe is good I believe. And the schools in Bishop's Stortford are excellent in the main, if you wanted single sex education.

Thanks all. We've been outbid on house 2 unfortunately but feedback on here is enough not to go for house 1!! We are also considering extending where we are too
