Grrr bloody neighbour

Just went to put my recycling out and discovered that my arsehole of an upstairs neighbour has dumped a pizza box (complete with bits of uneaten food) in my bin.

They did this last summer as well. I removed the offending rubbish and left it at the side of their bin, only for them to put it back in. Then I removed it again and another neighbour (who is a nice, decent person) threw it in the nasty neighbour's (overgrown) garden. I might do the same with this one. It's so full of weeds that they'll never notice. Twat.

The reason that they haven't put it in their own bin is because they are lazy as sin and their own bins are full to the brim with junk and haven't been emptied in God knows how long. I have lived here for over 10 years and I seriously don't recall them ever putting their bins out. No idea where they usually put their rubbish, perhaps it's just building up upstairs? Or maybe they just dump it in other peoples' bins, like they did with me.

I've had no end of issues with this fuckwit. The latest is that their bath has been leaking water into my bathroom. Not lots but enough that the wallpaper has eventually turned grey with stains from the leaking water. I've asked them 3 or 4 times to get it sorted but it's like talking to the wall. They say they'll do it and then I glance up at the wall and the stains are still there. They also said they'd pay for the damage, nothing. We both own or flats, you'd think they'd actually want to prevent damage to their own property at least but evidently not! I''m not sure what to do anymore, just wish I lived somewhere else.

Fucking hate that neighbour.

Who manages your flats?
The neighbour must be breaching the lease by using your bins and allowing the water to leak. Inform the freeholder if you don't have a building manager.
And get yourself a bin with a lock.

We don't have any management company. We just sort out any issues between ourselves (of course that then means that twatface still owes me money from years ago. Not much but even so). Don't have freehold or leasehold up here (Scotland).

Locks would be easy enough, just need to remember to unlock them before the binmen come to empty them.

Write their address on the box and leave on their step...
