High gloss colored kitchen?

Hello!
We are going to fully refurbish our kitchen.
Now I am completely failing to find high gloss coloured (perhaps blue or red or some shade of green) kitchen cabinets. For high gloss finish everywhere but everywhere I find white, black, and fifty shades of grey. Can anyone advise where vivid colourful kitchens can be bought?

Diykitchens maybe?

floppybit · 20/06/2019 22:44

IKEA have green, turquoise and navy blue

floppybit · 20/06/2019 22:45

Kitchen door is called kallarp

Thanks for your answers!

About IKEA - online reviews are horrible, average 1 start from 1300 reviews: uk.trustpilot.com/review/ikea.co.uk
Also the builder, whom I invited for a quote, told me that he fits any kitchens except IKEA and he will never deal with IKEA anymore in his life :).

Diykitchens - same 50 shades of grey, no single bright colour, you can see here:
www.diy-kitchens.com/kitchen-doors/high-gloss/allcolours/allbrands

"Kallarp" - is it in IKEAn language? I noticed they call every piece of furniture with their own strange name to make their customers even more confused.

I think the language is Swedish that Ikea use?

I work with someone who worked for Ikea's manufacturing dept. He said all their items are deliberately built to last in the short-term so that people go back and keep using. Saying that, SIL has recently installed an Ikea kitchen and it does look lovely. Very cheap too. I'll report back in 10 years on the longevity!

I saw some in wren a while ago.

Leo12345 · 21/06/2019 15:09

Thanks! In wren there are many colors, but they are not high gloss unfortunately.
Looks like I am chasing a wild goose.

Lots of people are very happy with their Ikea kitchens. I’ve just read the Which? Fitted kitchen reviews and they come out pretty well. They have their quirks which some builders don’t like, and there’s been a rash of recent problems with one door type, but they’re not terrible (especially for the price).

I thought Italian kitchen manufacturers are into the colourful high gloss look. Maybe try that avenue.

MrsMiggins37 · 22/06/2019 23:26

I have high gloss navy units. They are by a German company called Nobilia.

3boysandabump · 22/06/2019 23:31

I have plum (actually they may officially be aubergine) high gloss ones from the Cooke and Lewis range in B&Q

porkandbeans · 22/06/2019 23:38

Wickes do a pale blue high gloss kitchen. You can also get the same kitchen in Benchmark. It's called Eskar in Azure.

I have been on this search for months, sorry i am not going to be of much help because i am in france. Generally found that I had to visit to shop to see some were not listed on their website. Smaller shops as well seemed to be able to get them ( might have just been saying this) however were out of my price range. I am now down to the last two shops.

I saw some last night.... let me find a link

Noroof · 23/06/2019 08:37

Can't find it at the moment but I'll look again tonight. It was an independent not wren etc. They had plum, red, green and also some metal cabinets that looked like rusted metal which were striking and stuck in my mind

DOLLYDAYDREAMER · 23/06/2019 21:48

Our kitchen was by a german company called Kuhlmann. We had a beige grey gloss but the salesman told us they did it in a load of different colours. You could probably look them up online to see if they cover your area. It wasnt mega expensive

updownleftrightstart · 25/06/2019 20:04

Rotpunkt do a high gloss red and a blue.

Ambydex · 26/06/2019 00:44

DIY and similar places will do you bespoke colours. They're not extortionate. Perhaps just do that.

I like the pale blue glass-effect one porkandbeans mentioned. Magnet have a version that might be a little brighter and DIY do it in petrol blue. They're all a difficult colour to convey on a screen. I really like it. It might not be bright enough for you but it's worth looking at IRL if you haven't already.
