Would you change the design of this window?

I need to replace the bottom right window in this picture, but I can't decide whether to replace it like-for-like, or whether to change the style so that it is a closer match to the other windows.

Opinions?

Would you change the design of this window?

I would try to match the period windows. It's obviously a later addition and far less attractive.

It's too wide. If you don't want to change the size of the aperture, it would look much better split into 3 panes.

I'd split it into 3 panes as well

I would match the style of the windows above.

How have you ended up with so many different styles?

As Slightlyjaded said, the window in question is a later addition - a garage that was converted into a room sometime in the 1990s. We moved into the house a few months ago and will be using that room as a Study, but the previous owner used it as a bedroom and future owners may do too. I assume it is relatively wide to maximise light, as it is north facing and not as high as the bay window in the other downstairs room.

Have any other houses of the same design got a garage conversion? What are their windows like? That would be a good starting point. I agree with pps though that the window should be split - proportionately the top lights are too shallow for the width.
