Radiator placement advice for clueless!

My partner says you can’t put a radiator on a wall that is also the neighbour’s wall (terraced house) , but id really love to move the radiator as it would enable us to create a banquet style dining bench in kitchen corner!
Does anyone have any experience ? I’m finding it hard to find out online!
And if it is possible, how much extra is it likely to cost to install the radiator , add new pipe work etc? And what is involved in this process? Thank you!!

I don't understand why that would be the case. We have radiators on walls shared with neighbours...

You can put your radiator wherever you want.
You'd have to change the pipes from where the current radiator is to new location, usually under the floorboards

Ahh that’s great thank you both of you!!!! I told him I thought this but he was very stubborn in his viewpoint!! I was also wondering, are you supposed to place them strategically so they heat up whole room, or will they do this anyway? Here is the worst diagram I’ve ever drawn , but this is the layout! Partner says if I did put radiator on the left wall like I want to, it wouldn’t heat up the cold extension half of kitchen. In the extension, would it also maybe be useful to put a radiator above the units or would this look silly? The kitchen does get cold in winter, so I don’t want the new radiator placement to make it colder!

You could put your thermostat on the colder side?

If it's the kitchen extension that's getting cold, you could look into a gas plinth heater connected to your central heating.
