Rental agency could have killed me

I need some advice on what to say to the rental agent. Long story short - multiple leaks from the bath through to the kitchen below. Patched up by rental agency and their contractors but happened again. This final time the landlord sent his own guys round who informed me that it was the worst plumbing work they'd ever seen. There was an exposed socket/wires behind the bath with water leaking into it and I could have been electrocuted. The landlords plumber has now fixed it and totally relaxed the bath and I trust his work. The landlord is going to complain (I hope) as he has been paying the rental agency to fix repairs that they have been bodging. My question is what do I do or say? If anything? Slightly shocked at the severity of the fuck up and to be told I could have been killed...

environmental health team at your local council.
ring them and follow up via email

I should say I feel bad for the landlord as I they think genuinely thought they have been paying to get it fixed all along and had always been prompt at agreeing to get works done, so I'm hesitating slightly in kicking up a fuss in case they get in the shit for anything

The landlord should not be in trouble. They have done all they could reasonably do:

  1. Use a lettings/management company to respond promptly to problems
  2. Step in with good contractors as soon as they realised there was a problem.

So write to environmental health, or the person responsible for private housing if there is one, making clear that it was the lettings agency who put your life at risk.

Landlord should deal with the letting agent too as it's their contract between the two of them. But you can report the firm that did the work to the council too.
