What area of the country are you in? Seems common in certain places.

If you’re anywhere in London or the SE, it’s apparently very common and when I’m a treatment plan not a problem.

It wouldn’t make me walk away, I’d talk to the sellers about getting a treatment plan in place along with the guarantees that come once it’s been gone five/ten years etc.

Honestly - everyone saying walk away clearly has no experience of it - it's just hysteria.

If you have an insurance backed management plan it's absolutely fine.

Actually probably better than a property without one! At least you know if it pops up - you're covered - no one else has that assurance!!
