Quickstep or other?

I am looking for a laminate for me sons bedroom - he has a dust allergy so can't have carpet. I have heard good things about quickstep. Does anyone have experience of it? Or have other recommendations?

We have quickstep, you need to get the right underlay, it's great, no problems.

Thank you @Flobochin. Which quickstep do you have and what type of underlay?

We have had Quickstep laminate laid this week (couldn't afford LVT as we needed 80sqm!) - so far so good although I did get them to relay it after one day as they'd put similar boards too close together!
There are only about 9 different boards, so make sure the fitter regularly checks he's not putting the same boards close to each other. My mum and husband couldn't see it at all, but it jumped out at me!
No idea if we have the right underlay, but we chose a reputable local firm so I hope so!

I don't at the moment I'm afraid, as it was immediately covered up so that the decorators could get to work! It's the end of a 5 month extension project.

We used Luvanto in the end as couldn’t find a quickstep colour I liked as much as the Luvanto one. But our fitter is trained in quickstep and it’s his preferred product. He fitted the laminate in my sister’s house and it’s goegeous.

Try Costco....35 year warranty and commercial grade 14mm. Much cheaper as well

Quickstep going strong here, 12 years on. PP is correct you really need the proper underlay.

@DowntonCrabby How do I know I have the correct underlay - it has been fitted with a reputable flooring company, but I wouldn't know a good underlay from a bad one!!
