Using stripping/ grout effect for Amtico tiles

Hi - I have chosen Amtico Ceramic looking grey tiles but am debating whether to lay the tiles butted up to each other or add stripping which gives a grout effect. Has anybody laid Amtico recently and can advise on the best thing to do please?

Mummysheepy I was wondering the same thing. What does LVT offer above sheet vinyl.

We have ceramic style with the grouting strip. Was done 7 yrs ago. Tbh I think without would give a more modern look although it’s been great & really hard wearing.

LVT tends to be thicker and with a thicker wear layer than sheet vinyl.
Sheet vinyl can rip if furniture is dragged over it or similar.
We had sheet vinyl in the dc bedrooms and we have just replaced it with LV planks instead. Much hardier and looks nicer I think
I used to work for a huge flooring company and we didn’t advise sheet vinyl in areas with a lot of traffic

And to fabio I think that it looks nicer with stripping if it’s tile effect

Yip - completely agree. It’s withstood twin boys from 18 months to 8 with no major issues. Any scratches disappear when it’s cleaned. I wouldn’t have anything else in high traffic areas now.
