We are on the market for a few months with an online agent. Had just a handful of viewings but no offers. (One of them are very interested - their flat hasn't sold yet though). Our property is in the region of £600 - £650k and is in great condition. I had a few traditional agents come in to value the property again, 2 said the price is ok, 2 wanted us to reduce to under 600k. I looked around on rightmove and what I noticed is, properties under £600k are all selling reasonably quickly and many in my range are just not selling. Our property is bigger and higher spec and better in many ways (garden size, schools etc) than the

Well in the region of £600 to £650 really means £600 doesn’t it. If you want to sell, £599 will look way more attractive. The fact you are not really bothered about selling is affecting your mind set too. You have not priced keenly because you don’t need to.

So, if you want to sell use a local agent who might actually have buyers who can proceed. On line doesn’t have anyone actually selling your house with enthusiasm.

We weren't even able to view a property with an online National agent. They were hopeless at organising an appointment. We went to see the outside ourselves but gave up on seeing the inside, a property on at over 900k.. Use a local agent.

I would reduce the price if you want to sell and leave it as it is for a while if you really don't care if it sells or not.

Change to a local agent. One that appears to be selling well in your area.

I won’t even look at properties through online agents now, following issues with arranging viewings, making an offer etc.

It took me ages to arrange the viewing I wanted on a house, last year. A second viewing was refused and when i made an offer that was also refused with no feedback. In the end, as there was no agent to negotiate through, I just had to give up and walk away. They sold recently, for £40k less than I offered and I still have no idea why my offer was refused.

Online agents are awful. I would only try and view a house with one if it looked utterly unique and perfect and worth the effort. You will definitely be reducing your viewings by not going with a local trusted human agent.

If it's not it selling it is the price. The price for how it's presented/what it is. If you feel brave post a link.
