Kitchen worktops for curved cupboards

I have a curved cupboard at the end of the row of kitchen units. Current have a wood worktop which was cut to fit the curve of the unit when installed. Tge wood now looks dire and is spoiling the kitchen.
Can you get laminate worktops cut to fit curved cupboards? If so what do they do about the edges?
Also have laminate worktops mover on in recent years or do they still look cheap and nasty?

How about quartz or other stone?

Presumably they can cut laminate to fit (from the breakfast bar depth stock) but you'll then need laminate strips on the edges. Which you may or may not be happy with. I wouldn't, TBH.

There is a newer generation of laminates that have an "ABS edging". They're a bit reinforced and better bonded than a standard square edge.

We looked at Egger board, top shape and spectra. I believe with top shape you can get a curve done and the ABS strip added on, but I'm not sure about the others. We were looking at thin profile to better mimic quartz whereas you'd probably want 38mm to replace your wood. We went via specialist worktop companies locally - they do the cutting and bonding.

The downside is they are massively more expensive than standard laminate. Massively. How well it'll wear, I don't know yet.

We also looked at Maia etc but they seemed similar ballpark price to quartz.

Thank you! Yes quartz etc would be the ideal but I was hoping that we could get something cheaper. I’ll have a look at the new generation laminates
