If you have a shaker kitchen, what type of worktop do you have?

I'm pretty much decided on some kind of light quartz but can't decide whether to go white white (might this look cheap?) or a white/grey marble type effect...although I just got a sample and I'm not too sure about it.

Any thoughts/pics gratefully received!

@dazzlingdeborahrose what brand is your quartz?
We're planning white units with either dark blue or dark grey island, bit like yours.
I want a non plain quartz that is dark against the white but lighter than the island, yours looks perfect

@WhereDoesThisToiletGo
I think it was from PWS. Just looked at our quote from kitchen designer and it doesn't say. A quick google search brought it up under PWS. We had originally picked one called Arctic storm which is a bit lighter but they couldn't get it until after Christmas which is how we ended up with hail storm instead. Very pleased with it though.

Thanks for that info

Mussell kitchen here with light oak laminate. About a tenth of the cost of quartz, warm, durable and looks like real wood without the hassle of treating it.

I have a slate grey shaker with white matt quartz. It's actually a soft sheen than flat matt. I love it.

Hi, yes it's from Howdens. It has a soft sheen so the name is misleading.

It also has specks of grey so a little forgiving.
