I loved the cinema room! Although I did worry that the people in the back row wouldn't be able to lounge properly and still see the screen.

Redshoeblueshoe · 04/03/2019 09:12

That's revolting. Roy Keane's house was up door sale last year and it was lovely apart from the mirror on the bedroom ceiling

Pilcrow · 04/03/2019 09:21

All the hallmarks of an 'interior designer' allowed to run riot by an owner who has zero input. Sad, really, when your own home looks like a cross between an airport lounge and a bad Hollywood hotel.

SeaweedDress · 04/03/2019 09:22

I have been in several footballers' houses, and I swear, they all have identikit decor I think I asked about this once, years ago, and the club I had most to do with had a 'regular' interior designer or two who were clearly stone blind-- who were recommended to new players and their wives when they moved to the club and bought a house in the vicinity.

I think it may be a Premier League rule that you have to have those repellent dining chairs.

skippy67 · 04/03/2019 09:24

Nice kitchen.

FreezerBird · 04/03/2019 09:25

I'm just here to appreciate the agents' name.

Sleepthiefismyfavourite · 04/03/2019 09:29

Am I the only 1 who likes it? Blush

SprogletsMum · 04/03/2019 09:33

I'd swap it for my house any day of the week. I'd have to redecorate but I think it's a lovely house.

Villanellesproudmum · 04/03/2019 09:38

Like all the family photos around, I must put more up. I actually like some of the rooms, not the dark paint and purple though!

andypudding · 04/03/2019 09:46

What is will all the weird purple sex chairs Shock

FreezerBird · 04/03/2019 09:58

Actually on looking more closely I LOVE the starry carpet in what I assume is a playroom.

Shiklah · 04/03/2019 10:00

This must be the house he shagged his brothers wife in for 7 years. What a nice man.

ParisWilton · 04/03/2019 10:06

I quite like the actual design of the house. It flows well and all the rooms seem to have a purpose. But the decor is very footballer and beige bathrooms are just dull.

However, at least all the walls aren't grey with inspirational shit written across them.

MeowthThatsRight · 04/03/2019 14:49

What is it with the crushed velvet? Whenever there’s a footballers/ reality tv person/ soap star house online there’s always crushed velvet. I have never seen crushed velvet anywhere else in real life apart from at my fanny waxing salon. Whenever I see it I’m reminded of having a sore, naked crotch.

DirtyDennis · 04/03/2019 14:52

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack, that's horrendous

PizzaPlanet · 04/03/2019 16:44

The house looks like a block of low rise flats from the outside! The decor looks as though it was all done about 20 years or so ago, probably when he bought the property, and hasn’t did much since. It’s very difficult to make huge rooms look homely. At least whoever buys it will never run out of space Grin

Tinkhasflown · 04/03/2019 16:50

They like cushions don't they!

frazzled1 · 04/03/2019 20:03

Was expecting a stunning heart of the home type kitchen. Just seems too small considering the size of the house.

Loopytiles · 04/03/2019 20:08

I quite like it Smile

Loopytiles · 04/03/2019 20:09

Would just repaint and cut back on the furniture.

FromEden · 04/03/2019 20:21

The kitchen is way too small and cramped looking. Not nice at all.

It would be a complete redo decor wise, why would you bother paying so much to have to do that?

Foottunnel · 04/03/2019 23:28

Utterly hideous, quite fitting really.

Teddy1970 · 04/03/2019 23:36

Omg...it looks like a brothel inside, hideous.

HaroldsSocalledBluetits · 04/03/2019 23:43

It does need completely redoing but I guess whichever person buys it will pay for that, not do it themselves!

SoupDragon · 05/03/2019 07:09

I don't think it would need complete redecoration as most of it is the furniture etc - remove all that and it's mostly plain white isn't it? Exceptions being the bar/cinema/dining bits which were really dark.
