Has anyone used it? Was it any good? Do they provide you with a list of things you need like plinths and fillers for if you decide to go else where. We have seen a kitchen we like from then but would be useful to have a list so we can compare before we purchase. Any help or experiences would be appreciated

We have recently had a quote from Units Online- sent them a plan that our designer had done. Tony got back to us and we tweaked the design because the kitchen we are considering didn't have every style of unit. They were also able to give us a quote for a quartz worktop from their sister company.
Tony was extremely helpful.
We got a complete break down from them of what we need and costings (I will try and attach snapshot of a page what we received)- we can easily now get a like from like quote from other suppliers.
I would imagine you would receive the same if they actually draw up the design for you- but best to check first.
Hope this has been helpful.

Hi,

I was looking at the today too! What kitchen are you considering? Def will be keeping an eye on this thread :)

I am torn between DIYKitchens and Units Online now. Shaker or wooden handless. Units Online have a range called Lichfield by Second Nature that seems like a blend of handleless and shaker which I think might be more forgiving for life with 2 kids, dog and cat than the painted Linwood at DIYK I was originally thinking. I am trying to see what the difference in price.

@caspbutt thankyou so much for your reply. I completely missed it when you initially responded 🙈

I actually went to an independent shop and they gave me a list so I have managed to send it to a few shops to compare prices including units online. I might still use their depending where I get the kitchen from as if online I am completely course about end pieces etc.

@soakedat3 we are after an inframe kicthen and units online were far more expensive than DIY kitchens. But def worth getting quotes for both as I imagine the difference will vary consody depending what kitchen you want.

If it helps though for comparison the quotes I've had so far (for cabinets only):

Diyk- Helmsley bespoke £8.5k
Units online 1909 inframe slab door £15k
Units online Petworth £12k
Magnet Newbury £12k

This is for a 4.4m x 3m l shaped kitchen with island and a 2.6m display cabinet

The inframes seem to be considerably more expensive so might change to a normal shaker style.

We were hoping for £10k including tops and appliances 🙈

We used it and was very good did lots of tweaking, have just bought an Aldana kitchen which is a shaker style but with a narrower frame than most.

@Rhica I ended up buying my in-frame from Units Online because the the Helmsley sample was awful when i compared to the Langton from Burbidge also the 1909 was over priced yes but it is a Devol equivalent not really a cheap kitchen so i think you are a little unfair to unitsonline there.
The Langton was dearer but the quality was far superior than that of the Helmsley so thats what i have bought, after a trip to their showroom in Wellington which has a vast range and i know DIY also have a large showroom also.
