Can anybody explain this about estate agents?

If you're registered with them as a potential buyer, with all your requirements, budget etc. They promise to send you details of suitable houses, then don't? As in you see suitable stuff on right move and they didn't send it to you?

I have a sneaky suspicion that they either think we're not serious buyers or they just plain don't like us.

Frustrated!

Apologies for the repeat posts, but some estate agents will not even book viewings for people who are not ready to proceed. It can also be the case that they are instructed not to by the vendor, so won't waste their own or the vendor's time sending details.

I went into the EA offices a lot! I was on mat leave so I could do it, we got our house by viewing it before it loaded online and the EA had all 5 houses in the chain. They wanted us as buyers, (we previously lost 2 others)... it’s just a game of contacts, luck and determination in this country!
