Drillable wood filler recommendations

Hi,

Need some DIY advice please.

I have a big sideboard made of laquered/ coated MDF. The doors are heavy and attached using 2 hinges.

One of my DC has completely stripped the holes for the hinges (inside the sideboard) by leaning on it, so the screws are loose and the door is wonky.

I've tried the usual quick fixes (soft wood to fill the gap, bit of glue) but the hole is now so big these wont work.

Is there any wood filler I can use to fill the holes, drill new pilot holes and scres in the hinge again so that it holds in place? Will need to be fairly sturdy due to aforementioned DC.

Thank you!

Use bigger screws, or move the hinges? Maybe a wall plug?

You drill out the hole so it is fully round, and glue in a short piece of round wooden dowel of the same size as your hole.

Or photograph the hinge please. If it is like a kitchen hinge there is a repair plate made for this common problem.

Thank you! Will order some dowels and also post a picture when I can.
