Restoring wooden flooring

I've been thinking about this too much, and I think I'm overcomplicating it...

On the first floor, we're in the process of removing the laminate flooring from 3 bedrooms and the hall, with a view to sanding and polishing the floors. I'm struggling with the best way to do it: It feels like it makes sense to do it all in one go, but then I really don't know where I'd put our furniture (big stuff like beds, wardrobes).

Can I do it a room at a time, or at least do one room, then put all the furniture in there and do the rest? I get that there's an amount of time you don't want to put anything on the floor, so couldn't just move things to and fro, I don't think?

Sorry, this seems like a straightforward thing but I just can't get my head around the best way to do it! Any advice gratefully received!

(May be relevant: This is the last big of a big renovation and I think I've just run out of steam!))

I did this.
Biggest room 1st. Left it 3 days to cure. Put everything in this room on protective matts. Then did the other 2 rooms and 2 large cupboards.
Going to do the same with downstairs.

You may run into an issue if your floor boards run between one room and the hall. As there will be no obvouis place to stop and start and this would need to be done in one go.
