Best thing to clean floor

I currently just use mop and bucket and change mop head when it needs it. But we have just had a large area of laminate put down throughout downstairs and was wondering if there was something better I could try? I have used a steam mop before the type you plug in and didnt really rate it
Thanks

I use an e mop which has a large mop head and you can use just water to clean with. It does a good job and leaves the floor fairly dry. The only downside is that you have to take the mop head off by hand and dunk it in the water then squeeze it out.

I absolutely love my Karcher SC3 steam cleaner. Not cheap but it's absolutely brilliant (and so quick) on my kitchen floor.

I am on my second steam mop, had a vax and have a shark one now, and I don’t love them. I have dark tiles and always worry they’re just pushing the dirt around in a way. I always wonder how effective they would be on pale floors.

I have recently bought the Vileda turbo mop and I LOVE it. The whizzer thing on the bucket makes the mop really dry so the floor doesn’t get sopping and dries quickly. It picks up any little bits of debris, and is super quick. Morrison’s had it v cheaply before Christmas, not sure if it’s still reduced.

Yes I got the Vileda mentioned above and it’s great. Was on offer in Robert Dyas.

GET A SPRAY MOP

sorry to shout but it's just changed my life!

Thanks everyone fusion which brand that's the thing I'm after I think where you can just fill it with water or zoflora or whatever and just put the cloths in the washing machine x

So my answer wasn't what you wanted then OP?!

mrssunshinexxx · 14/01/2019 10:12

Wow- I don't really want to be dunking it in dirty water and squeezing it out no

I use an e-mop, it's brilliant. I'd be wary of using zoflora on laminate.

Ooh ok thanks maybe I'll stick with flash?
