Wood floor with underfloor heating

We are debating what type of flooring to get and can't decide on the fitting method, whether glued tongue and groove or a floating click type fitting. Does anyone have any experience or advice on which is best?

From my reading you need glued down with ufh, as floating means there is an air gap under the floor which insulates and prevents the heat transferring upwards.

Other things I have read: you want flooring of max 15mm thick (thinner is better), and there are loads of rules to follow about installation - for example you have to let the screed dry for weeks, and keep the wood in the room with the ufh running to let it acclimatise before installing. Also no thick rugs as they stop the heat coming through.
