Vaulted bathroom- best extractor and duct position

Hallo!
Talk cubic metres, timers, 150 mm vs 100mm ducting and decibels to me.

Please tell me all about how a duct is best placed in a vaulted ceiling.

Do you like your vaulted ceiling in bathroom, or am I asking for mould in places I cannot reach?

Thankyou Flowers

at the highest point, because water vapour is lighter than air and rises. Hence clouds.

Furthest from the door, because the dry air that comes in to replace what is sucked out, will enter through the gap under the door.

Warm air also rises, so a high ceiling means you will be in the cool zone. This is not always an advantage if you are not well-clothed.

John's spot on. Just to add my 2p I'd avoid a high ceiling on a bathroom like the plague. You're asking for mould, plus it'll take considerably more time to heat. Just like ceramic baths, they're very fashionable, but utterly inpractical. You'll only own one once.

*cast iron not ceramic.
