Pay weekly carpets on fb....

I'm thinking of using them but on FB it said £800 credit to spend but on their website it said £400. Unsure which one?? Also, it is correct that you can only get one carpet per fitting off them? As I need the whole house doing and I can't save the money up to buy carpets elsewhere so I prefer where they take £10 per week off me.

Thanks

They offer £400 credit on carpets and £400 on blinds giving a total of £800. Although they don't charge separately for underlay and grippers, they must be building the cost into the cost of the carpets. The only way this can work for the company is if they are charging over the odds for the actual carpets. It's telling that apart from customer photos, there are no details about the carpets on the website.

The website states that you can have another carpet fitted when you have enough credit on your account, i.e. when you have repaid enough of the cost of the previous carpet.

Sounds horrendous.

When I moved here I had a pay weekly carpet fitted and a pay up front carpet from United Carpet.

The pay weekly carpet is far superior to the United Carpet. Price wise the pay weekly was £30 cheaper too. The fitters were better than United as well.

I know there's lots of pay weekly places now so others experiences may be different but I'd recommend them over United Carpets, don't rate United at all.

My only experience has been as a casual observer but the choice was fairly limited and they only do 4m width which is fine for most rooms but not all. I'm sure it was more than one room though that was quoted for.

What about applying for a 0% credit card, buying carpets using that and then paying a bit off the credit card each week?

Can you not get an and roll of carpet? I did my whole flat with end rolls from Carpet Right and it cost about £100 per room.
