Help storing clothes

We are about to move out of our current home and in with my parents whilst we wait for our new home to finish being built.

We currently have built in wardrobes and will have in the new house. At my parents there is no spare wardrobe space.

Is it best to buy a cheap wardrobe? Or would hanging rails be good enough for 3 months usage?

Cheap hanging rails are a nightmare (had some from Argos while moving and they didn't hold much without bending).
It might be worth buying a basic IKEA Pax frame and rail for about £60 (without doors). It will be a lot sturdier than a rail and you could resell it and recoup some of the costs afterwards.

You can get cardboard wardrobes from storage removals places. We had them for over a year they are surprisingly sturdy and then you can recycle them.

Great thanks for the tips, well check them out.

Ikea algor hanging rail is £9 and brilliant compared to others, the design means it doesn’t collapse. We used one for a few years. Dust was the only problem for clothes that were worn infrequently, but should be less of a problem for 3 months.

We have ikea hanging rails as our main wardrobe atm as we cannot work out quite how to sort wardrobes in our loft bedroom. It’s been a year so far (and my FIL left all the washers out when he built them...we know because we kept finding them all over the floor) and they are still perfectly fine. They will be totally fine for 3 months.

We’ve been using this one for 3 years- very sturdy.

Thanks for the reassurance with the hanging rails. I’ll take a look at IKEA and the argos one you’ve linked.
