So I thought I had decided on Karndean van gogh country oak but have just seen a pic of a recent install on a floorer's facebook page and it looks to have quite an orange tinge which I dont want.
Does anyone have any recommendations for either a karndean colour or polyflor camaro colour that is oaky, but neither too grey or too orange! Photos would also be hugely helpful if you wouldnt mind sharing.
Thanks.

That's beautiful pud1, very similar to what we'd like. Where did you get it?

PurpleFlowersInMyHair · 03/11/2018 13:45

That is beautiful pud1 we want exactly the same. Can I ask what the price was for what size room approx. We have a kitchen/ diner & hallway to do. Not sure we can afford hallway too. I have always loved parquet but I understand this comes in sheets so it quicker (cheaper) to lay. We will have a concrete floor underneath

^ approx 30 sqm

OP - I’ve also been looking at Amtico form rural oak LVT. It looks fairly similar to the above picture (also available in parquet laying pattern). As I said above we are currently trying to work out what we can afford (30sqm) as I can’t afford the circa £5k quoted by John Lewis

We paid £2000 fitted for 20sqft. In the lounge. Taking it through to the kitchen diner this month. Can’t wait to get it all down.

It comes in the individual pieces but to be fair only took a day to lay. We have wooden floor boards so they layer plywood the day before. Not sure how different the price would be if it needed screed.

Thank you all. I'm handing this choice over to dh as I've lost the will to choose!!!

Does anyone know if you need to get a concrete floor screed first? This could bump up the price considerably I guess

£2k for 20 sqm is good Pud
