You know those wire baskets that hold shampoo/conditioner in the shower....?

.....at what height should they be installed? Handyman is coming tomorrow, and will put two corner/triangular baskets (one big/one little) in an enclosed shower, and two more in a bath with shower head and bath screen.

Should the shower stall ones be placed at roughly shoulder height? Should the bath/shower ones be lower down so they could be reached by either a person sitting in the tub, or one standing in the shower? Say knee height? Presumably for both, the smaller basket should go above the larger one?

I've been googling for photos, but can't seem to find anything suitable. Thanks.

Do you want to worry about my job app. and I'll put my brainpower into where your shampoo is going to go?!

In my personal bath/shower situation I get very annoyed at having to stand up once in the bath to reach shampoo but I do, however, think it would look odd in the middle. Just decide which you'll be doing most in that bathroom; showering or bathing.

shower ones at shoulder height sounds fine.

It makes sense for them to be placed where it works best for me, but as the screw holes will be drilled into wall tiles I want to ensure that positioning would work for whoever might use/own the flat in future too (considering renting it out atm). I've had bathtubs only for so long, that must confess to not knowing the 'proper' place for the baskets.

Not sure I'd be much use for job app advice, but I'll click and will add anything that comes to mind!

Why not have one drilled in a shoulder height (or more where your arm reaches to when outstretched IYSWIM) for the shower and then use a suction one for the bath which you can move around until you find the best position for you. J Lewis sells the suction ones in chrome.
