I stayed in a hotel that was a converted mental hospital last weekend. 'Twas very naice. I must say it gave me a sense of satisfaction that the building is being used for celebrations and relaxation rather than the absolute misery it was in the previous centuries. My mum worked as a psychiatric nurse & began her career in a large old fashioned building like that one... some of the stories she told me were heartbreaking.
Completely off the point but these buildings are usually very impressive & with large grounds. It would be amazing if you had billions of pounds!
