Need advice about bathroom vanity installation

Hi all,

First time poster so sorry if I don’t do a good job of explaining! I’d really appreciate some advice/ input about bathroom units we’ve had fitted as part of our bathroom refurb.
As you can see from the picture there is a gap between both the vanity and the toilet unit and also between the toilet and the wall.
I feel stupid saying this, but I’ve already paid most of the cost of bathroom and have only just really thought about how annoying the gap will be- it’s going to be impossible to clean and fill up with dust!
I asked the guy who fitted it if anything could be done and he said no.....is there really nothing they can do?
He’s a fitter for the company, so I guess I could go back to head of company and complain, but I want to know what I should be asking for as I don’t really know what they could do to fix this- if anything!

They should have put a filler panel between the toilet and the wall I think and sealant along the join between the unit and toilet

In the first picture you can see the gap at the left and in the second where the filler panel has been fitted

Are they separate pieces that have been fitted right next to each other? Or one unit?

There are definitely ways to get rid of gaps like that. A filler panel like Pixie says.

Thanks you so much for your help, just knowing that I am right in thinking it can be sorted and I shouldnt accept this has made me feel a lot better about this! I’ll text the company owner first thing to ask for the gap to be filled.

Also though, they are separate units. I think they’ve done a bit of a bodge as they don’t line up properly (the toilet unit won’t fit in under height of the sink) so that’s why there’s a gap between sink unit and toilet unit.
The gap between toilet unit and sink would be too big for sealant to fill I think. It’s about the size of a small finger
