Converting an old outside toilet into a utility room

Hi,
Has anyone converted an old outside toilet into a utility room?
Ours no longer has a loo or sink and is currently used for storage more like a second shed. It’s attached to the back of our house, is brick built, and shares a wall with the neighbours old outside toilet. Would love to utilise the space and wondering how easy it would be to do so. Would be great to hear from anyone with any experience of doing something similar.

Thanks!

We had to have the floor dug up and sealed, a ceiling put in as it was freezing with just the roof, we also put in insulation boards before it was plastered. It's now so much warmer - and inhabitable. There was already water and drainage there, so we didn't have that expense. I love having a utility room.

Ours didnt having any heating insulation or anything as was just 'loo' sized...
we had freezer and boiler in it as no drainage - the power was run off a spur from the kitchen
so guess depends on your appliances....tumble you could get a condensing just need venting - washing machine trickier as needs drainage

We had a coal shed we had to have a drain put it, new floor, battoned out and insulation added and the roof replaced. But I now have a utility and a downstairs Shower room which we love

Knocked ours down and put a lean to greenhouse in. It’s ace.

Thanks for your replies. Sounds like it’s definitely doable then. I’ve arranged for a builder to come and give us a quote as part of a bigger kitchen renovation so I’ll see what he thinks.
