Hi, I'm just about to move into a rental property for four months. Is it doesn't have fitted wardrobes and I don't really want buy big new wardrobes for only a short stint. But I have quite a lot of office clothes that need hanging. Has anyone got any ideas for smart clothes storage during that time?

I guess there's no rent-a-wardrobe for a short stint website 😁

Cover your rail, dust and light leave marks on the shoulders of dark clothes.

IKEA sell some really sturdy rails - we bought four when we moved from a house with built in wardrobes to one with none. As you're not going to be there for long, use sheets to cover things if necessary.

We are just going to use hanging rails from Argos until we get around to putting fitted wardrobes in or just sturdy floor to ceiling ones.

Or you could buy a wardrobe from British heart foundation or similar for cheap and either sell or donate back to them when you move?

RandomMess · 06/10/2018 20:47

Our Ikea rail is at least 20 years old! Still going strong...

That's a good idea ranger.
I guess I have been spoilt - for the last 10 years I've had fitted wardrobes and haven't had to be think about where to store clothes (just all the other life crap Wink)
