Lino (vinyl) and electric underfloor heating

I will be replacing the flooring in my utility room shortly and electric underfloor heating will be installed.

The cats have their litter trays there but I have one who religiously poos just outside the box (inherited cat who has done it since she was a kitten and she is 10 now so retraining isn't possible) so I'm wondering whether a sheet of Lino might be better for keeping clean rather than tiles or Karndean type stuff which looks like it would also have gaps where germs could hide.

Has anybody got experience of how it works with underfloor heating which they could share or do I just take the hit with bleaching the grout?

Thanks

We are fitting some vinyl flooring, locking sections, just like laminate laminate flooring only in vinyl. It's a pain to fit and wasn't cheap for vinyl but it has written across the box "suitable for all underfloor heating."

I am not suggesting you use this stuff but it's a good indicator that vinyl suitable for underfloor heating is available.

you can use Amtico or Karndean type vinyl flooring - just make sure fitter uses high temperature adhesive

So, it sounds like I could find some vinyl if I really go looking. Thanks KitchenGuy

justkeepmoving do you know if Amtico or Karndean gets stuff trapped in the joints?
