New utility room fit out needed

Just got the keys to our new house and realised that the utility room needs replacing. Didn’t look so bad when it was full of stuff, but now it’s empty, it seems tired and rickety.

Any recommendations please?

I had mine done in the same units as my kitchen but the worktop and colour are different. Mine is more of a laundry room and is essentially fitted out on two walls opposite each other. We also have a door to the outside. Therefore it’s a wide corridor!

Wall one has, from left to right, washing machine with dryer above and detergent storage above that. Big sink with spray head tap. Cupboard below. Draining board and more work top with wine fridge below. Above the sink and fridge are cubby holes (but could be wall cupboards) for washing sorted for each family member. At right angles, is a large towel rail.

On the opposite wall is a run of work surface. Below are two huge baskets for paper recycling and wellies. Just above them are drawers for bits and bobs like light bulbs, torches, string, batteries etc. Above the work surface is a hanging rail for ironed shirts or anything you want to hang really. At the end, opposite the washer/dryer, is a tall cupboard for mop, ironing board, iron, polishes, cleaning materials, etc etc etc. I also have my large steam iron in there and iron in there from time to time but it can get a bit hot. I prefer ironing in the kitchen if it’s a big load.

Vacuum cleaner and steam cleaner are kept under the stairs but they could be in here. We just prefer paper storage as we seem to have so much to recycle!
