Removing stain on door from expanding foam

Does anyone know of a product that might get rid of a very thin layer of expanding foam?

We have a pretty unsightly yellow stain on our composite door from some expanding foam that got stuck to it during fitting. Obviously we've removed the foam but it's left a kind of nebulous yellow mark. I'm worried about using sandpaper on the composite in case I damage it.... I've tried scraping it with tweezers as well, but it's pretty much cemented onto the surface Angry

What about WD40? Bicarb of soda? Olive oil? (Disclaimer, I have no idea if any will work or will ruin your door!) Try soaking kitchen roll in something soapy and sticking it to the mark and leaving it for a while to soak in.

Eucalyptus oil. Weird, but it works.

Ahh thank you, I will give the foam eater and eucalyptus oil a go!
Not sure about WD40 re: damage... I suspect bicarb/ oil won't remove it because it really is adhered to the door strongly (almost like yellow paint) and probably needs something a bit more potent.
Phew! Thanks for the tips!

leave it exposed to sunlight and it will go brown and crumbly, and a nailbrush or thumbnail will get it off. It degrades from UV light (which is why you should paint it round doors and windows)

if you clean it off wet, the water will reduce scratching of the surface.

I have done on the carpet Sad

Thanks - unfortunately it's on the inside of the door in a stairwell so it doesn't get any sunlight. Going to give the product mentioned above a go.
